Browser Language Settings for Chrome and Firefox

Make sure your browser settings are set to the correct language. 

Set up Chrome Language Default 

  1. Open Chrome, click the Customize and Control Google Chrome toolbar option in the upper right corner.
  2. Click Settings.


  3. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click Advanced.
  4. Scroll down to Languages, select the drop-down arrow and click Add languages. 
  5. Check the box next to the desired language and click Add.
  6. Click the 3 dots next to the newly added language.

  7. Check Display Google Chrome in this language.
  8. Click Move to the top.
  9. Relaunch Chrome if necessary to reset the language.


Firefox Language Setting

  1. Open Firebox, click the Open Menu option in the upper right toolbar and click Options.
  2. Scroll down to Language and click the Choose button.
  3. Select a language to add and click the Add button. 
  4. Move the preferred language to the top of the list and click OK.
